Everybody’s working for the weekend!

As if the GTAL faithful weren’t big enough rock stars, this fall we’ve decided to take on our biggest job ever!  Seeing an opportunity to give our student’s some “real life” retail experience, we were lucky enough to take over Y.A.L.E. Ellisburg’s Bulldog Bodega!  This school store is available to the Ellisburg students as part of their school wide behavior program.  By following their “High Five” criteria, students are able to earn bulldog bucks, which can be cashed in for preferred snacks and activities!

Our Green Tech students have taken over stocking the shelves, taking and keeping track of inventory, and even providing some cashier support! This new task will give our workers a chance to sample retail work in a controlled environment.

We are all very excited about this new job, and hope to grow the store in the coming months!
